This year’s f-cell will be held in Stuttgart and live-streamed for worldwide audiences under the name f-cell World. All conference presentations, discussions and pitches can be viewed either online or in Stuttgart’s Haus der Wirtschaft on September 29 and 30, 2020. Thanks to this hybrid format, the organizers have made the event accessible to international participants from science and industry who are unable to attend due to corona-related travel restrictions. The 20th edition of f-cell will focus on hydrogen production, international markets and potential applications in the transport sector. Registration and tickets are now available at f-cell.de/registration.

With the announcement of its “Hydrogen Technologies 2030” research initiative in mid-June, the German government sent a clear signal: Germany intends to become nothing less than the global market leader in hydrogen and fuel cell technologies. The government, at the direction of the Federal Minister for Economic Affairs and Energy, Peter Altmaier, is providing a total of nine billion euros to achieve this goal. Seven billion is to be invested in research and development in Germany and two billion in international partnerships. The f-cell conference and trade show in Stuttgart on September 29 and 30, 2020, offers the ideal conditions for making contacts, networking and helping shape the future of hydrogen technology. Innovation leaders such as Daimler, Bosch, Siemens, Ballard and Tokyo Gas will use this platform to present their new products and technologies.

Digital realignment of f-cell

Despite the unusual circumstances, it is important for the industry that the 20th f-cell takes place – it is one of the most important international trade events in the emerging energy sector. Over the past few weeks, organizer Peter Sauber and his team have been working hard to come up with a suitable event format. The new format is a hybrid event: During f-cell, participants can follow all events and happenings either on location or worldwide from their own computers through f-cell World. Online participants will have access to a chat function to exchange ideas and network with each other. The exhibitors in Stuttgart will also be able to present themselves via their own virtual exhibition space.

Early bird discount tickets available until July 31, 2020

Registration for f-cell World is now available at f-cell.de/registration with an early bird discount until July 31, 2020. Based on the current situation, the number of onsite attendees for the event in Stuttgart will be limited.
