We take the health and safety of our attendees, partners and staff very seriously. With this in mind, we have developed a plan based on input from federal and state governments and our venue. It will be revised as needed and updated here. (Last update: 2021-08-10)
Note for visitors to Germany (including EU residents) or for those who have recently travelled: Please inform yourself of the evolving COVID-19 entry restrictions, testing and quarantine regulations on the Federal Foreign Office, the Robert Koch Institute (RKI), the Federal Ministry of Health and AUMA websites directly before embarking on your journey. (On the RKI page, an English PDF is available.)
If you need an official Corona Rapid Test, we suggest: “Marble Arch Medical” at Büchsenstrasse 20, 70174 Stuttgart. (They are open 08:00-19:00 and do not require an appointment.)
Disinfectant dispensers will be placed at all important points. High-touch surfaces (e.g. counters, tables, handrails) will be cleaned frequently.
Masks must be worn in all event areas. Participants who do not bring their own masks, will be provided with one.
Ventilation in conference and trade show halls will be optimized to ensure extra fresh air exchange.
Sanitary facilities will be cleaned frequently. Sufficient distance for hand washing and sanitizing equipment will be provided.
Special signage and floor markings will remind all attendees of distancing and hygiene rules. Security personnel will ensure that rules are observed.
All conference participants and visitors will require full registration (with name, address and telephone number) to enable contact tracing in case of a reported infection.
To minimize lines at registration, the number of counters will be increased.
To protect participants, seating arrangements and numbers will be adjusted.
The exhibition area will be designed with one-way aisles to help avoid physical contact. Security personnel at entrances and the exits of exhibition halls will manage visitor numbers.
Partition screens at counters and information stands will ensure safe discussions. We will also recommend exhibitors equip their exhibition stands.
Seating will be organized to help maintain 1.5m during business appointments. We recommend that participants avoiding shaking hands and also wash their hands as often as possible.
Catering area will be expanded and multiple eating times offered so that large groups do not form.
